Martha Lawrence – CEO & Founder

Martha Lawrence is an operationally-oriented Health Care Executive with more than 25 years of experience in leadership, management, sales, marketing, and managed care with leading national and international organized health systems including Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). Prior to AccendoWave, Ms. Lawrence served as President of Sequoia Healthcare Advisors, an advisory firm providing strategic leadership, advisory, business development, and technology guidance. At HCA, Ms. Lawrence served as Vice President and was responsible for the strategic direction and managed care function of HCA’s 108 surgery centers representing $550M of Managed Care net revenue. During her 17 years with HCA, she held multi-facility positions both at the market and division level.  Additionally, Ms. Lawrence was part of a select group of senior strategic task force executives that studied enterprise business opportunities. Earlier Ms. Lawrence served in national account sales with Sandoz Corporation (now Novartis) and in sales and marketing roles with National Medical Enterprises (now Tenet Healthcare). Ms. Lawrence has a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of California, Los Angeles.Ms. Lawrence is also a current board member for The American Association of PPO’s (AAPPO) – Western Region, a PPO industry trade group.

 

Cary A. Jardin – CTO & Founder

Mr. Jardin is a successful serial Entrepreneur. In 1997 Mr. Jardin founded IPivot which was purchased by Intel for $500 Million in 1999. Between 1999 and 2001, he served as CTO of Intel’s Network Equipment Division where he ran the Advanced Development Lab. In 2001, he left Intel to found NextGig Inc. and raised $15.2 Million to pursue parallel database acceleration silicon. After hiring the next stage CEO in 2002, he began Jardin Labs as his personal R&D lab to explore Super Computing technologies. His research created a breakthrough in parallel data processing which led to a $275 Million technology acquisition by Microsoft to drive SQL Server Parallel Server.  Since, Jardin Labs has developed internal and contracted projects in computer to human interfaces, big data, machine learning, parallel systems, machine vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), social networking, autonomous robotics, patent litigation, and general product development . Mr. Jardin holds a B.S in Computer Science, has over 24 patents and patent applications, has written several books and has spoken at a wide variety of association meetings and conferences.
